Where We Are Vocations |
Vocation Ministry
God's call occurs in everyone's life. The person who participates in the life of the Church perhaps notices the call easier. One is able to hear in the midst of reality, in a prayerful climate, in listening to the Word of God, in a more focused work, in the church's mission and groups, in service to the poor, in participating in meetings and lectures, or in a vocational group. A caring person opens the heart to hear the invitation of God, because in order to answer that call, one must take into consideration our personal accomplishments and the discovery of our place in the world. An open heart and disposition allows God to communicate in our life, thus we discover our vocation. One can serve God actively in the Church as a married or single layperson or as a religious or priest.
